OCA Asian Pacific Islander American Advocates Utah held their 21st annual Utah Asian Pacific Islander Community Awards Evening on November 9, 2019, in West Valley Metropolis, Utah. Beneath the route of OCA Utah Contemporary President Emilio Manuel Camu, who is the Director of the Pilipino American Affiliation of Utah, the evening used to be enjoyed by all who attended. Elections were held to retract the 2020 Board for OCA Utah.

Floyd Mori, a Past Nationwide President and outmoded Nationwide Govt Director / CEO of the Eastern American Citizens League (JACL) and outmoded President / CEO of the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Reviews (APAICS) in Washington, DC, used to be honored with the Lifetime Fulfillment Award. Mori taught Economics at Chabot College in Hayward, California, for ten years and used to be a Mayor of the Metropolis of Pleasanton, California. Some members of the Eastern American community of Salt Lake Metropolis who were honored within the previous by OCA Utah are: Mediate Raymond Uno, Wat Misaka, Irene Maya Ota, and Edith Mitko.
